It's Heinrich Rudolf Hertz's birthday today. He is the man that proved the existence of electromagnetic waves by engineering instruments to transmit and receive pulses. Without his research, we wouldn't have radio, broadcast TV or more importantly, the excellent work done at Alaska Studio! So Happy 155th Birthday Heinrich Hertz - we're totally on your wavelength! |
